Such a perfect day

  1. One awful midterm
  2. Participation in one flame, where the main flamee is me
  3. Staying at uni till 2.30am working on exercises
  4. No package with goodies from mom
Can't think of a better way to celebrate my name. Let's hope that next year it will be just as good as this one.

Thank you. Well it did get better; one professor gave us unexpectedly two more weeks to finish some exercises.

Now... I missed your nameday again, haven't I? It's so unfair? Why don't you celebrate like the rest of the world, on the 15th, HUH?! :P
Anyways, "Xronia Polla", even late, and I hope you'll get the best results with your midterms. Don't worry, you know they don't count much. And midterms has never been our strongest point, you know that!

it's quite simple, I'm following the Cretan custom and you have to admit that Cretans are clever. Imagine what would happen to our phone lines if all Marias celebrated on August the 15th. A scary scenario at least for Crete, when 90% of the island's female population has this name.
And you'd better phone on the 15th and not send a text message, most of my sms, which are answers to wishes, don't get delivered that day.
