Housekeeping

It seems that I have free time on my hands, so it's time to take care of this poor, neglected blog. A list of things already changed or about to (in a few hours, a few days, who knows?):

Blogroll:
I deleted the NaNoWriMo blog; it was about time. I have a few I'd like to add, but first I'll have to organize my bookmarks.

Greek blogs:
Thanks to astrElia, I found the wonderful Greek blogosphere. There are so many blogs I'd like to read, so many links I'd like to add. I'm like a kid in a candy store. For starters I may have to borrow her list and work from there.

Miscellaneous:
Did you notice that I'm no longer an insignificant microbe in the TTLB, I'm a microorganism! Give me a moment while I pat myself on the back. .... Done. I have to say I'll miss being a microbe, I was the secret, incospicuous power of the blogosphere.

Upcoming:
A new section to be placed in the sidebar, to keep track of my 2 weeks in Athens. I'm leaving in 1 week *insert enthusiastic, girly scream*, but I'm already planning ahead: which museums to visit, which shows to see, meetings with high school friends.
Once holidays are over, I may use it to keep track of uni staff and future posts.

Layout:
A week ago I made a few changes in the Blogger tags, so now you can see all the contents of the sidebar in every page (post, comment) not just the main. It was a learning experience, I learned to always keep a back up of my code. Thank God for bloggers who use the same template as me.
Furthermore I created a new blog, to experiment with tags, templates and blog add-ons. Eventually I'll try to design my own template from scratch (now that's a scary thought!) but I haven't decided whether I'm going to use the new address for my blog. I'm very disappointed by Blogger, it seems that every time I try to post their servers are down, so I'm thinking of hosts and other blog platforms among other changes.

Site feed or advertisement du jour:
Are you using Firefox? No? Then what are you waiting for, go get it! With Firefox's Live Bookmark's you get this icon on the bottom right of your browser window. Click on it and you get the site's posts as links in your favorites. I've been using this neat feature to watch for new posts in blogs and livejournals.

That's all for now, time to do a bit of housekeeping in my real home.
