Thank you, dial-up

As a self-respected and slightly egocentric blogger you check your hits, the referral links etc. At the references you notice a couple of unknown blogs and curious creature that you are, you have to check to see whether someone has linked to you and what kind of blog that person keeps. Never mind that 99.9% of these hits are generated by the next blog link of the Blogger banner. You're still convinced that the day has come; the world finally realized what a genius you are. You click the link and although the title looks suspicious you wait until the first pictures slowly start downloading. And then you ran fast. No, nobody linked to you today, this was just the link from the banner. And btw, that was just another porn-oriented blog.
