A morning walk

You know, Knossos isn't really what textbooks showed us. The more I see it the less impressed I am by this legend of my childhood. Needless to say Sir Evans has sunk further in my esteem.

By the way, are the signposts up already? The promised to put them up again 3 years ago, after finishing with the "restoration works"...

... although paid tour guides never "finish" with their job there..

Signs? Do you mean something like this one? They've been there since September 2003, so I guess they kept that promise. On the other hand some parts, like Queen's Megaron, are still closed for restoration. Not that I saw anyone working. You would think that they would take advantage of a beautiful, sunny, winter day to get some work done, especially if there aren't many visitors. Something tells me that they won't be open for public again, like the Throne Room. A pity.
